The house is on Via Torricelle, in Sambuca, with a private entrance. You come in through a terracotta courtyard with a table, a parasol, geraniums and a barbecue.
Inside there is a spacious open-plan kitchen and living room with a wooden ceiling and an extendable table. There are two bedrooms: a double with an extra single bed and a French door, and an internal bedroom with a French-style double bed and no window.
It is the easy choice if you want the village on your doorstep. Podere San Paolo is 660 metres (0.4 miles) away as the crow flies: together, the three homes sleep up to thirteen guests.

Florence is 25 minutes away, Siena 30, Badia a Passignano 5 and Greve in Chianti 20 (by car). The village of Sambuca is a kilometre (0.6 miles) from the farmstead; the Via Torricelle house is in the village itself.
